Hello! My name is Candace but everyone calls me Candy. I am the face behind Nizar!

I started Nizar as a side hustle at the beginning of 2020 (formerly known as Le Papier Raffiné) as a wedding and home decor stationery business. I developed a passion for it when I decided to design my invitation suite for my own wedding and it brought me so much joy.

As a passionate instagram blogger, I documented my journey of starting a new hobby of candle making. That very quickly and very unexpectedly developed into becoming a professional chandler through Nizar after popular demand from my lovely followers! Now, after realising the true potential and passion I have for this form of art, it is now exclusively what Nizar is all about.

Shortly after, I managed to turn this from a side hustle into a full time hustle. Which wouldn't have been possible without the support of friends, family and my followers. An absolute dream come true.

Each of my candles are made with more love than you could ever imagine. Made from pure soy wax and beautifully curated fragrance oils to bring your favourite scents to life in your own home. Each candle is finished off with a high quality wood wick that burns and crackles like a warm fireplace.
